Privacy notice
How we handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

What we process, and why
- Contact form. Name, organisation, email address, sector, your message, and a referral source. We use these solely to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Spam protection. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data (including your IP address and a challenge token) to distinguish humans from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider processes standard technical access data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Language preference. Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It is not sent to us and is not used to track you. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Recipients and processors
The website is hosted on, and the contact form is delivered and protected through, Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting/CDN, email routing, and Turnstile). Personal data may be processed on infrastructure in the EU and the United States under an EU data-processing agreement with standard contractual clauses. Retention
We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet any statutory retention obligations, then delete it. [TODO: confirm concrete retention periods.]
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest; where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, contact hello@lile.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at).
